Have you ever tried the food in Aruba? Which was your favorite?
During our first trip to Aruba, we tried every single food you can imagine in Palm Beach. The food scene in Aruba caters to almost any diet. I have a severe nut allergy, and I was always met with a genuine understanding of this at restaurants. The Gelatissimo Bus in Aruba boasts a wide variety of ice cream options, and I felt comfortable enough to ask about which flavors had nuts in them. Unfortunately, we didn’t take a picture of the bus, but we will be in Aruba in a month and will definitely be taking more ice cream photos.
I’m going to add a list of restaurants we went to in Aruba at the bottom of this blog. Here are some photos of the food we had:
There’s nothing like laying out on the beach drinking a virgin cocktail. Fun fact: I have an alcohol allergy! Aruba is very accommodating with offering virgin drinks which I also appreciated while we were there.
Another tip to keep in mind is that alcoholic drinks can be pricey. My husband buys a bottle of Tito’s at the airport when we land, brings an ice bucket from the hotel, a cup, and a juice of his choice to make his own drinks!
Let me know in the comments below what you would like to try in Aruba, or what you’ve had! Here’s a list of restaurants we went to that were divine:
- Gelatissimo Bus
- Gianni’s Ristorante Italiano
- Smokey Joe’s
- Salt & Pepper Aruba
- The Radisson Blu Aruba (for breakfast and lunch)
- Texas De Brazil (for a very formal and elegant experience)
- Lola Taqueria (it is a challenge to find late-night-food in Aruba, so this is a great place to get some tacos at night.)
- Tango Argentine Grill (good for date nights)
We’ll be making our way around the island more this time around, so I’ll be posting more options for food!
