Aruba was one of my favorite trips particularly because I connect Aruba with great memories. This was the first major trip my husband and I took together while we were dating. It’s also the last trip right before we got engaged. And we are also going to Aruba in a few weeks for our honeymoon. It’s safe to say that Aruba is our happy place. There is honestly not a single ounce of stress we’ve felt while we were exploring the island. Because it’s a desert island, essentially, there is so much to do and so much to see. I’m subscribed to a YouTuber by the name of Hyro who posts engaging and interesting Aruba videos quite frequently. As my husband puts it, I’m glued to YouTube once we get home from a long day binging Hyro videos. Aruba boasts countless restaurants, excursions, experiences, shopping options, and amazing beaches. We almost had a mini wedding in Aruba! Unfortunately, it’s hard to bring everyone over to an island to get married, so we ended up staying in the states. More on that in another post.

The first time we went to Aruba, we didn’t indulge in the party scene, as we aren’t really into partying. But we are into dancing! Which led to my search for the best dance spots in Aruba. We usually stay near Palm Beach, which is where most of my search history has taken place. I also often refer to Hyro’s YouTube channel to see where the best spots are for dancing. I’m still searching for the best spot, because there are so many throughout Aruba, and will report back once we’ve decided on a few.
This wouldn’t be an Aruba-centric post without mentioning the beautiful sunsets. They are absolutely gorgeous and out of this world. Watching my first Aruba sunset felt as though I was in a postcard. There’s nothing like it.
Have you been to Aruba? What was your experience like? Let me know in the comments box. I’d love to exchange experiences! Thank you for reading my post.
