Are you an adventure seeker? Beach lover?
Aruba is a gem offering something for every vacation style imaginable. My husband and I are a dynamic duo of adventure seekers, beach bums, and food enthusiasts, so Aruba has truly captured our hearts! We’re passionate about Caribbean travel, and Aruba’s stunning scenery and variety of activities make it the perfect playground for our wanderlust.

My husband is very much an adventure-seeker and loves swimming further in the ocean to see sea turtles (which can be difficult to spot at times.) During our first time together in Aruba, we were unfortunately unable to see the sea turtles, but it was such a fun experience looking for them. We also saw a class of silvery fish and other varieties of fish. If you want to go snorkeling, there are two ways to do it: by going with a group or “solo”. I added quotes there because my husband and I decided to snorkel on our own (mind you, we were closer to the surface, and the farthest we went was to see the sea turtles) which worked out well and was a beautiful experience.
There are different levels of adventurous activities Aruba offers, which is great for varying interests and travel enthusiasts. Here we found a huge list of different water activities, specifically beach-related that may tickle your fancy!
We plan on engaging in more spontaneous activities this time around. Our first time in Aruba was in June 2023, and we were so exhausted from working all year that all we could really think of was laying on the beach and relaxing. We’ll be there for 10 days in August, so we’ll have more time to be more adventurous.
We’re also planning on going to Arikok National Park, Conchi (the natural pool), and exploring some caves. Here is a list of different places to explore on land in Aruba.
Something I am personally and particularly excited about is going to the Aruba Aloe Factory and Museum. Aruba Aloe is an amazing cosmetic brand in Aruba. If you’re in the US, they do deliver (I ordered some stocking stuffers from them and added these to our wedding favors when we got married.) My husband and I use one of their products as an after-sun lotion which is so cooling and comfortable. It’s a bit pricey but so worth it!
